Using Mederium
Terms of service
These terms explain the basic rules for using Mederium's website, practice websites, and private portal. By using those services, you agree to these terms. If you use Mederium on behalf of a practice, you must have authority to do so.
What Mederium provides
Mederium provides tools for practice websites, appointment requests, scheduling, and authorized practice work. Features available to you depend on your account, role, and the practice using the service. Mederium may update features as the service develops.
Accounts and appropriate use
Keep your sign-in details secure and use only the account and information you are authorized to access. Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, or try to access another person's or practice's information without permission. Practice users are responsible for entering accurate information and following the professional and legal duties that apply to their work.
Appointments and health information
Each practice is responsible for the care it provides and for the information it publishes on its own website. An appointment request does not guarantee an appointment until the practice confirms it. Mederium is a software service; it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care. For urgent medical needs, contact a qualified local medical service.
Information and connected services
You must have the rights and permissions needed to provide information to Mederium and to use it through the service. The optional Google Calendar connection is controlled by the doctor who enables it and can be disconnected in the portal. Google's own terms also apply to a connected Google account. See our privacy policy for how Mederium handles information, including Calendar data.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Mederium available and secure, but features may be interrupted by maintenance, technical problems, or services outside our control. We may revise these terms as the service changes. The current version will be posted on this page.
